For Corporate Brand Identification, FKI Security Group is Chosen

Effective Feb. 1, 2003, Fire King International, Inc., FireKing Security Products LLC, and Image
Vault LLC will do business as FKI Security Group (www.fkisecuritygroup.com). The five brands now
marketed and sold under FKI Security Group are: FireKing, NKL Cash Handling, Meilink Safes, Gary
Safes, and Image Vault Digital Video Recorders. “We are making this change to better reflect the
broad capabilities of our product line and the diverse expertise in security and loss prevention
we offer,” said Director of Marketing Steve Aronson.

After informal polling and surveying its clients and vendors, these changes were made by President
and CEO Van Carlisle. “The name FireKing is well recognized in the office products industry for
our fireproof cabinets but is misunderstood by our other audiences. The company has grown over the
years to include safes, digital surveillance, and electronic cash handling. Loss prevention and
life safety are important areas of growth for our product offerings.” He added that FKI Security
Group is more than a manufacturer of security products. The group’s hardware and software
offerings demonstrate its expert status as a team of security professionals keeping pace with
market demands. “While our fireproof cabinets are an important part of our business, we are
heavily vested in product development for electronic and digital technologies through NKL Cash
Handling and Image Vault respectively. We define the security products for the future,” Carlisle
added.

FKI Security Group will continue to market the FireKing brand name (www.fireking.com) in the
office products industry. Carlisle commented, “FireKing dominates the fireproof file category and
we will continue to support the brand name FireKing very aggressively.”

The safe brands under the FKI Security Group umbrella will be marketed individually when
appropriate. Meilink Safes (www.meilinksafe.com) are marketed as traditional fireproof safes “for
serious security.” Gary Safes (www.garysafe.com) feature plate and custom safes. The most recent
addition to FKI Security Group is NKL Cash Handling (www.nklsafe.com) for “a smarter way to handle
cash” which was acquired in its entirety four years ago. NKL cash handling is a premiere cash
management product serving the loss prevention industry. The brand goes beyond traditional safe
technology and adds a turnkey system for cash management, financial auditing, financial tracking,
and cash handling.

Image Vault (www.image-vault.com) is a digital surveillance product line for “a smarter way to
view security.” Image Vault was introduced in 1998 and has quickly become a leading digital video
recorder in the retail category. “Our research shows Image Vault to be one of the top three
recognized brands among retail chain executives. We will capitalize on this brand name recognition
and expand into other categories.” said Aronson.

in New Albany, Indiana. Member brands include: FireKing, Meilink Safes, Gary Safes, NKL Cash
